"Last night Congorock laid the beat down on a room of initially-shy industry insiders like they got caught vandalizing cars in Singapore. The party was We the People, celebrating the midweek climax of Boston’s Together Electronic Music Festival and Congorock’s own birthday. Uncle Sam-themed dancers on stilts that brought their buisiness-ends to eye level, huge multi-screen visual displays, a briefing-room style photobox and generally sky-high production values all contributed to the general atmosphere (as I’m sure did getting full run of the Estate for $6), but it was DJs Congorock and Klever’s greasy beats, with flourishes by supporting acts upstairs, that really got people out on the floor and kept them begging for more. Electronic music talent, club promoters, and nightlife visionaries, it turns out, really know how to get down, and there were more of them there than one could reasonably opt to shake a dick at. Once they all remembered that the dance party they were throwing was actually for them, quite a few of them got down to business. I haven't woken up covered up in so much confetti and PJ since the democratic national convention." - Rheinheart
